Some details and vision
I picked up my first 35mm single lens reflex camera at the age of 11. I started shooting portraits of my baby sister, Camille, and discovered a passion for photography. Over the next 30 years I shot film exclusively until early 2008 when I purchased my first Nikon DSLR. Since then, I've been shooting an average of 3,000 frames each month. My vision is really very simple... I strive to compel viewers to pause for a moment then smile.
Pricing
Unlike the vast majority of photographers, we do not retain copyrights. We do not sell prints. In this day of digital images, we believe you should be able to print what you want, when you want it.
Portraits:
- families, children, business headshots, senior portraits, sorority portraits, engagement/bridal portraits, holiday cards and maternity/newborns
Up to 1 hour: $150 - 5-10 edited images on CD*
1 to 2 hours: $250 - 10-20 edited images on CD*
Events:
- small weddings, children's parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, quinceañeras and more
$250 per hour (2 hour minimum)
*You receive a photo CD with the indicated amount of edited images. With your CD, you can print the images you want when you want them. Print them yourself or email them to family and friends. We are happy to recommend a quality lab for your printing needs.
Traditionally, photographers make their money by retaining the copyrights and selling prints - if you want a reprint at a later date, you must buy one from the photographer (if you can find him/her). We simply don't find this outdated business model necessary or, more importantly, client friendly.
Shoots
To express your interest, send a message and you will be added to our database of models that we can easily access when we need someone for a project. Please include an email address and phone number with your modeling inquiries.
TF Shoots:
We are asked on a daily basis to do TFP/TFCD shoots. We do limited TF shoots and we only shoot with models that meet our criteria. That said, don't be afraid to ask but please don't be offended if we do not agree to shoot you on a TF basis.
Portfolios / Private Shoots:
Head Shots (up to 1 hour): $150 - 5-10 edited images on CD
1/2 Day (4 hours): $500 - 10-20 edited images on CD
Full Day (8 hours): $1,000 - 20-30 edited images on CD
Professional hair & makeup included for 1/2 day & full day shoots.
Testing:
We will do paid test shoots for agency talent only, with a limited model release at the rate of $200 for 1 hour / 1 look on location, agency choice.
Concept / type of shoot is agency choice. Proofs are provided to agency. Agency picks 5 images which are provided on CD to the agency. Your agent know what's best for you. Commercial usage license extra. Hair and makeup extra.
Note: Executed model release forms are required for all model shoots. We do not release raw or unedited files.
Commercial Projects:
Day Rate: $1,500 and up
Copyright transferred to the client.
